COURSE

The Superior Stocking Run starts and finishes at Purple Park in the town of Superior. In 2023, we will be using a slightly different course (as we did in 2022) to avoid areas still being rebuilt following the devastating Marshall fire. Runners depart the start line in Purple Park and enjoy a fast gradual downhill opening mile. The course then winds through Rock Creek neighborhoods on road and bike path before returning to the finish line in Purple Park.Click Here for a Course Map.

DIRECTIONS: The race will start and finish at Purple Park in Superior, Colorado. Superior is located off at the Mcaslin exit off Highway 36 between Denver and Boulder. From Highway 36, head south on Mcaslin approximately 1 mile.

PARKING: There will be no parking on neighborhood streets or on Pitkin. The residents of Superior were kind enough to let us use their neighborhood for the race. Please do not park on their streets. There is plenty of parking available in the designated lots. The few designated parking spaces on Pitkin are reserved for race staff, volunteers, vendors, and our ambulance.

Athletes can park in the Key Equipment Financing office complex at 1000 S. Mcaslin in Superior. This is on the west side of Mcaslin at the top of the hill. Parking signs will direct you into the lot. From there, it's just a short 2 minute walk to the start line! To reach the start line, you will cross McCaslin, then follow Rock Creek Parkway east & south to Pitkin.

Superior Residents may find that it is easier to park at the North Superior Pool and Tennis Complex at the corner of Rock Creek Parkway and Indiana. The address is 1650 Indiana St. in Superior. From there, it's just a short 2 minute walk to the start line! To reach the start line, you will follow Rock Creek Parkway north to Pitkin.

We will have a bag check area in the registration zone. Just fill out a tag, and you can leave a bag of clothes, etc there for after the race. This will save you a trip or two back to your car!
